EFZ has been in existence since 1962 facilitating fellowship and ministry of member bodies, ministering to the nation and providing humanitarian, relief, advocacy, counsel, peace building and development services to and on behalf of the marginalized, victimized, the disadvantaged and the displaced. EFZ runs its programming through five commissions namely:

  • Humanitarian, Relief and Development Commission 
  • Peace and Justice Commission 
  • Research and Development Commission 
  • Gender Development Commission 
  • Commission for Ministry Development 

Mission Statement: 

  • To mobilise, network and empower the evangelicals for the accomplishment of the Great Commission in Zimbabwe.
